Jammu, Dec 31, Jan. 1 -- The High Court of Jammu and Kashmir and Ladakh has directed the Poonch police to ensure the safety of a woman who approached the court alleging threats related to a forced marriage. In an order dated December 20, 2025, Justice Rahul Bharti disposed of a writ petition filed in 2023 through the petitioner's elder sister. The petitioner had claimed she was forcibly married and feared harm from seven individuals, including members of the husband's family.
