Srinagar, July 18 -- Minister for Jal Shakti, Forest, Ecology & Environment and Tribal Affairs, Javed Ahmed Rana, today called for introduction of new trekking trails to promote eco-friendly tourism in Jammu & Kashmir.The motive behind the initiative is to offer the tourists a closer experience of wilderness and virgin trekking routes of the Union Territory.During a meeting held at Civil Secretariat here, the Minister emphasised upon collaborative efforts between Forest department and Tribal Affairs Department for promotion of eco-tourism, aimed at diversification of trekking routes.The meeting was attended by the officials, including the Secretary Tribal Affairs, Principal Chief Conservator of Forests, Director Tribal Affairs and MD J&KF...
