Udhampur, Jan 28, Jan. 28 -- The Jammu and Kashmir government has ordered a formal enquiry into the events that led to the circulation of videos on social media related to an incident at Government Medical College (GMC) Udhampur on Jan 27. Under Government Order No. 67 JK (HME) of 2026, Prof. Dr. Ashutosh Gupta, Principal of Government Medical College Jammu, has been appointed as the Inquiry Officer to conduct a detailed investigation. The enquiry will examine the circumstances, sequence of events, and administrative, security, and institutional aspects surrounding the incident.
