Srinagar, Feb. 28 -- Amid inclement weather, the government is likely to extend the winter vacation for schools in Kashmir.Education Minister, Sakina Itoo said the government will hold a meeting in this regard on Friday."Keeping in view the prevailing weather conditions, we are going to hold a meeting tomorrow regarding the extension of winter vacations for schools in Kashmir division," she said.The minister said keeping in view the health and safety of students, they will take a decision accordingly"If weather conditions do not improve, we may consider five days extension in vacation for primary level classes and in case there is more snowfall, we will consider extending the vacation till March 5 for all classes," she said.
