Srinagar, Aug. 2 -- In a concerted effort to uphold public health standards and food safety, the Food Safety Wing of the Drugs and Food Control Organization has carried out a sweeping enforcement drive across multiple locations in Srinagar district. The action comes in response to administrative directives aimed at ensuring hygienic practices among street food vendors.Inspections were carried out in Panthachowk, Karan Nagar, Batamaloo, and Hazratbal, where 44 street vendors were found in violation of the Food Safety and Standards Act (FSSA).
