Srinagar, Feb 14, Feb. 14 -- A family from Rafiabad staged a protest outside Sub-District Hospital Sopore on Saturday, alleging lack of timely medical attention to a female patient whose condition reportedly deteriorated due to the absence of diagnostic facilities and proper treatment. The protesters said Ruqia, a mother of two, developed complications but could not receive adequate care at the hospital owing to non availability of ultrasound services and essential medicines. They alleged that the delay in diagnosis and treatment led to her condition turning serious.
