Srinagar, July 15 -- Senior BJP leader and former J&K Deputy Chief Minister Kavinder Gupta was on Monday appointed as Lt Governor of LAdakh Union Territory.President Droupadi Murmu appointed Gupta as the new Lieutenant Governor of the Union Territory of Ladakh today."I am thankful to those who considered me worthy - be it the Prime Minister, the President, the Home Minister, or the national leadership - who have placed me in this position.
