Srinagar, Aug. 2 -- An encounter has started between terrorists and security forces in the Akhal forest area of Devsar in South Kashmir's Kulgam district.A police official said a joint team of police, Army and CRPF launched a Cordon and Search Operation (CASO) in the area following specific inputs about the presence of terrorists.He said during the search operation, contact was established with the hiding terrorists."The exchange of fire is going on and further details will be shared accordingly," he said.Additional troops have been rushed to the area to tighten the siege.The security men used drones and other surveillance gadgets to track down the movement of the hiding terrorists.Sources said a group of 3-4 terrorists are hiding in the ...
