Srinagar, Aug. 28 -- Continuing its commitment to environmental sustainability and community engagement, the Assam Rifles organized a Tree Plantation Drive under the nationwide campaign "Ek Ped Maa Ke Naam" at Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya (JNV), Longnok in Nagaland's Mokokchung district.The initiative, conducted on 26 August 2025, saw active participation from Assam Rifles personnel, school staff, and students, who came together to plant a variety of saplings within the school campus.
