Srinagar, Feb. 8 -- Minister for Jal Shakti, Javed Ahmed Rana and Union Minister of State, Dr. Jitendra Singh, today inaugurated 7 Water Supply Schemes (WSS) in Jasrota, Kathua. Legislators, Rajiv Jasrotia and Vijay Kumar along with other officers from Jal Shakti Department were also present on the occasion. The WSSs have been completed by Jal Shakti Department with an amount ofRs.25 crore under JJM which will provide potable drinking water to thousands of souls. While e-inaugurating the projects, Rana said that the schemes will cover a dozen villages, benefitting 15881 souls covering 2584 households.
