Srinagar, June 13 -- In view of forthcoming Muharram-ul-Haram, Divisional Commissioner (Div Com) Kashmir, Vijay Kumar Bidhuri today chaired a meeting of officers to ensure hassle-free and peaceful observance of religious occasion and to facilitate mourners.Besides, DIG Police Rajiv Pandey, the meeting was attended by Deputy Commissioners, SSPs, officers of line departments and representatives of various associations of Shia community.Addressing the meeting, Div Com directed officers for repairing and macademization of roads in Shia dominated areas to ensure pothole-free routes for mourners procession.He also directed civil departments including PHE and KPDCL to ensure delivery of uninterrupted services during the Muharram days.He instruct...
