Srinagar, Feb. 14 -- Divisional Commissioner Jammu Ramesh Kumar, who is the chairman of the Divisional Level Committee for monitoring Eco sensitive zones, on Thursday chaired a meeting to discuss formulation of the Zonal master plan for Surinsar Mansar wildlife sanctuary.The meeting, attended by Deputy Commissioners of Samba, Udhampur, Regional Wildlife Warden, Regional Director Ecology and Remote Sensing, DFOs, besides officers from Agriculture and allied departments, discussed the action plan for conservation of the Eco sensitive zone within 10 km from the periphery of the wildlife sanctuary.It was stressed that the purpose of the development of eco eco-sensitive zone is to protect the flora and fauna of the wildlife sanctuary.The meeti...
