Srinagar, Jan 21, Jan. 22 -- Devotees visiting the Hazratbal shrine in Srinagar have raised serious concerns over the unhygienic condition of washrooms and lavatories outside the revered site, describing them as nearly unfit for use. Visitors reported that the facilities are poorly maintained, with dirty commodes and a strong foul odor making it difficult to remain inside even briefly. The unsanitary conditions, they said, particularly inconvenience elderly worshippers, women, and those traveling from distant areas.Locals and devotees alleged that despite a steady flow of visitors throughout the year, basic sanitation facilities outside the shrine have been neglected.
