Srinagar, March 21 -- The Division of Landscape and Green Mission, Central University of Kashmir (CUKashmir) Friday launched a Weeklong Plantation Drive, from Tulmulla Campus of the varsity. Inaugurating the drive by planting a sapling, Vice Chancellor, Prof. A Ravinder Nath, described the initiative as a significant step towards promoting environmental sustainability and encouraging community participation in afforestation efforts. Held under the "Mission Green India" campaign, with the motto "Each One Plant One," he said, the drive aims to enhance green cover, combat environmental degradation, and foster environmental responsibility among students and faculty.
