Srinagar, Dec. 27 -- A large number of electricity consumers across Kashmir have appealed to the government to continue issuing paper electricity bills, warning that a full shift to online billing and digital payments could disadvantage the elderly, less tech-savvy, and economically weaker sections. Consumers noted that many residents do not use smartphones or online platforms and rely on cash payments for their electricity bills.
