Srinagar, Dec. 29 -- In view of the forecasted wet spell and to ensure the city's preparedness against waterlogging, the Commissioner, Srinagar Municipal Corporation (SMC), Faz Lul Haseeb, on Monday conducted a comprehensive inspection of the SCADA (Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition) Control Room at the Drainage Circle Office, Darish Kadal. During the inspection, the Commissioner assessed the functioning and operational efficiency of the SCADA-based dewatering system, which provides real-time monitoring and centralized control of dewatering equipment installed at 80 dewatering stations across Srinagar city and its adjoining areas.
