Srinagar, June 16 -- Jammu and Kashmir chief minister Omar Abdullah on Sunday spoke to External Affairs Minister (EAM) S Jaishankar over the safety of Kashmiri students pursuing education in Iran.He said the Union Minister assured that the ministry is in close contact with their counterparts in Iran, and will take all necessary steps for the safety and wellbeing of students in Iran.In a post on X (formerly Twitter) Omar said: "Just spoke to @DrSJaishankar regarding the situation in Iran, particularly the welfare & safety of Kashmiri students in the country.
