Srinagar, Aug. 30 -- A cloudburst struck the Zadigay area of Tulail in north Kashmir's Gurez valley Friday evening, officials said.The residents of the Zadigay village in Tulail were left panicked after heavy rain caused a sudden rise in local rivulet.Locals said the water levels surged unexpectedly during the downpour, carrying wooden logs and muck downstream.In videos shared on social media, distressed villagers can be heard shouting in fear and seen running for their lives.Shabir Ahmad, a local resident, said, "The water levels suddenly rose and it was scary.
