Srinagar, Dec. 26 -- Inhabitants of Teli Mohalla in Awantabhawan area of Srinagar have accused the Public Health Engineering Department of negligence over a long-pending water pipeline leakage that has severely affected daily life during the ongoing harsh winter. The inhabitants said continuous leakage from the pipeline has resulted in persistent water accumulation on the road, which freezes amid sub-zero temperatures, turning the stretch into a serious accident-prone zone.
