Srinagar, Dec. 11 -- A Chinese national was deported from Srinagar on Wednesday after authorities found that he had entered Jammu and Kashmir without a valid visa permitting travel to the Union Territory, officials said. The individual, identified as Mr. Congtai, was intercepted by local police after it came to notice that his visa conditions did not allow entry into Jammu and Kashmir. According to police sources, the visa issued to the Chinese national was restricted to specific destinations, including Varanasi, Agra, New Delhi, Jaipur, Sarnath, Gaya, and Kushinagar.
