Srinagar, Sept. 27 -- For over a month, residents of Buchwara, Dalgate have been without safe drinking water, causing severe hardship for hundreds of families. Despite repeated complaints to the Public Health Engineering (PHE) Department and the concerned Water Works authorities, the regular water supply has not been restored for the last one month.In the interim, residents of Buchwara, Near Masjid Sharief, adjacent to Goodwill Public High School, Dalgate, Srinagar are forced to rely on bore wells at local mosques and a temporary rubber pipeline from a tube well to meet their basic water needs.
