Peren, Jan 23, Jan. 24 -- In a step toward promoting sustainable livestock management and preserving traditional knowledge, the Assam Rifles recently conducted a one-day training session in collaboration with Krishi Vigyan Kendra (KVK), Peren. The programme, themed "Use of Plant Genetic Resources as Ethno-Veterinary Medicine for Management of Animal Diseases in North East India," was aimed at benefiting the local villagers of Peren district.
