Imphal, Dec 9, Dec. 10 -- Assam Rifles under Spear Corps held solemn wreath-laying ceremonies at Modi and Tengnoupal in Manipur on 7 and 8 December 2025 to honour two Bravehearts who laid down their lives in the line of duty decades ago. At Modi, officials and troops paid homage to Rifleman Rakesh Singh, who made the supreme sacrifice in 2001 while serving the nation with exceptional courage.
