Pallel, Feb 10, Feb. 11 -- The Assam Rifles, under its Spear Corps, flagged off the National Integration Tour (NIT) from Pallel Garrison, aimed at fostering national unity and cultural awareness among youth from Manipur's border areas. The 29 participants began their journey with a visit to Kohima, Nagaland, where they were exposed to the rich local culture and historical landmarks. During their stay in Kohima, the group visited the War Cemetery, paying homage to soldiers who sacrificed their lives, and explored the Cathedral Church, a symbol of the city's colonial heritage.
