Itanagar, Feb 18, Feb. 19 -- The Assam Rifles flagged off "The Eastern Edge Expedition" on February 18, 2026, from Pangsau Pass in Arunachal Pradesh, marking the beginning of a landmark motorcycle rally aimed at celebrating the spirit, resilience and unity of the Northeast. The expedition will culminate in Jorhat, Assam, on March 2, 2026. Organised under Operation Sadbhavana 2025-26, the rally seeks to promote goodwill, strengthen civil-military cooperation and highlight the region's rich cultural and geographical heritage.
