Kohima, Nov 19, Nov. 20 -- Assam Rifles provided school kits to 13 students-eight boys and five girls-in Avangkhu village along the Indo-Myanmar Border in Nagaland. The distributed kits included school bags, alphabet and colouring books, pencils, crayons, and an LCD geometry box with an electronic slate. Officials said the initiative aims to encourage education among children in remote border areas and support families with limited resources.Assam Rifles personnel interacted with the students and teachers, highlighting the importance of education for empowerment and community development. The force said such outreach efforts will continue as part of its commitment to supporting border communities.
