Kohima, Dec 31, Jan. 1 -- The long-awaited Cadre Review of Assam Rifles has finally received official approval, bringing significant relief and clarity to personnel regarding promotions and career progression. The implementation of the review is expected to streamline the promotion process, particularly for Tradesmen, who have been prioritized at the earliest stage following recommendations to senior authorities. Under the revised cadre structure, around 223 additional vacancies for the ranks of Subedar and Naib Subedar have been created.
