Imphal, Dec 23, Dec. 24 -- Intelligence-based joint operations conducted by Indian Army and Assam Rifles formations under Spear Corps, in coordination with Manipur Police, between December 13 and 20, 2025, have successfully strengthened security in the hill and valley districts of Manipur. The operations, carried out across Thoubal, Kakching, Bishnupur, Churachandpur, Ukhrul, Imphal East, and Imphal West, focused on neutralising insurgent activities and disrupting networks involved in militancy, arms smuggling, and illegal activities in the region.During the week-long operations, security forces apprehended 20 cadres and recovered two weapons, explosives, contraband, and other war-like stores, thereby preventing potential threats to publi...
