Manipur, Sep 28, Sept. 29 -- Assam Rifles achieved a major milestone in strengthening digital infrastructure in remote border areas with the inauguration of a Swadeshi 4G mobile network at its Modi Garrison in Chandel District, Manipur, on September 27, 2025. The initiative, implemented in collaboration with Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited (BSNL), aims to enhance both operational communications and welfare connectivity for troops stationed in strategically sensitive regions.
