Srinagar, Sept. 6 -- In a major blow to cross-border smuggling operations, a joint team of Assam Rifles and Nagaland Police intercepted a truck loaded with illegal foreign-origin cigarettes in Tening, Peren district, Nagaland. The contraband, valued at crores of rupees, was seized during a routine intelligence-based operation carried out under the command of Spear Corps.
