Srinagar, Oct. 19 -- Apple growers in Sopore and Bandipora have expressed satisfaction over this year's market rates, saying the season has brought much-needed relief after years of fluctuating prices. At Sopore Fruit Mandi - one of Asia's largest fruit markets - traders said the demand for Kashmiri apples remains strong, with rates ranging between Rs.1,000 and Rs.1,500 per box depending on the variety and grade.
