Srinagar, Dec. 25 -- Chief Minister Omar Abdullah on Wednesday said the continuous electricity is now being provided to 108 areas of Srinagar, bringing a large part of the summer capital under a round-the-clock power supply system. He said the move has ensured regular power to nearly 1.25 lakh households, which together account for close to 48 percent of the city.The CM congratulated the Kashmir Power Distribution Corporation Limited (KPDCL) for expanding the 24-hour electricity network within Srinagar.In a post on X, the Chief Minister's Office said that officials had briefed him about the inclusion of 83 additional areas under uninterrupted power supply.With this expansion, the total number of Srinagar localities receiving 24-hour elect...
