Srinagar, April 3 -- Two people injured in a road accident near the Nowyug Tunnel on the Jammu-Srinagar highway last evening succumbed to their injuries, officials said on Wednesday."Around 8:40 pm Tuesday, a Hector vehicle traveling from Jammu to Srinagar lost control near the Nowyug Tunnel due to overspeeding and collided with a divider and a police barrier," they said.The crash left five people including a Special Police Officer (SPO) injured.All Injured were shifted to Emergency Hospital Qazigund for treatment, where from they were shifted to Government Medical College Anantnag for further treatment."One injured person Zubair Ahmad Wani of Heerpora Shopian was declared dead on his arrival.
