Patna, Aug. 28 -- The Bihar Home Department has directed the state police headquarters to assess the work and physical fitness of all police personnel aged above 50.

It has also directed Superintendents of Police to submit status reports of such police personnel for analysis to the police headquarters.

The SP-rank officers have also given the assignment to test physical fitness and efficiency of the personnel on the ninth of every month, and the future of these personnel will depend on the performance reports.

The police headquarters will analyse reports of every individual police personnel, to recommend whether they should be retained in service or not.
