Chennai, Nov. 14 -- Actor Suriya will be playing the lead role in 'Irudhi Suttru' director Sudha Kongara's upcoming film 'Soorarai Pottru', which stars Aparna Balamaurali, Arjunan, Mohan Babu and Paresh Rawal in crucial roles.

Soorarai Pottru is jointly produced by Suriya under the banner 2D Entertainment in association with Oscar-winning producer Guneet Monga's Sikhya Entertainment. The makers have recently launnched the first look poster of the film.

GV Prakash Kumar, the composer of Soorarai Pottru has recently revealed that the theme song is written by rapper Arivu of Casteless Collective fame, but the actor-composer has kept the fans guessing on who will be crooning the rap lyrics.
