Chennai, Oct. 23 -- Actor Sivakarthikeyan has signed a credible line-up of projects that are helmed by critically and commercially acclaimed filmmakers. One of the projects is the 'Irumbu Thirai' fame P.S. Mithran-directed Hero, in which the actor dons the lead role while Kalyani Priyadarshan is set to make her Kollywood debut through this film.

The film will be bankrolled by Kotapadi J. Rajesh under the banner KJR Studios. Apart from the leads, Hero also stars 'Action King' Arjun, Abhay Deol and others in crucial roles.
