India, July 15 -- BNP's senior leader Ruhul Kabir Rizvi has said certain Islamic parties were able to enter politics because of the support and opportunities provided by Ziaur Rahman.

Speaking at an event in Kurigram on Tuesday, Rizvi claimed the BNP is the only party with "genuine" feelings for Islam, while accusing other groups of exploiting religion for political gain.

He warned that these groups misuse platforms like YouTube, social media, and artificial intelligence to spread misinformation.

Rizvi, the BNP's senior joint secretary general urged the party leaders and activists not to be misled or provoked by such tactics.
