Dhaka, Jan. 20 -- Chief Advisor Muhammad Yunus, during a visit to the July Uprising Memorial Museum at Ganabhaban -- the former prime minister's residence, has said that such a museum should never be needed again.

On Tuesday afternoon, Yunus inspected the final phase of the museum's construction alongside political leaders and interim government advisors.

According to a statement from his office, Yunus arrived at the museum at 3pm and toured exhibits detailing the history behind the July Uprising, the context of the movement, and the state repression under Sheikh Hasina's nearly 16-year rule.

He was briefed on the progress of the museum's final construction stage.
