Bangladesh, July 28 -- As Bangladesh gears up for its 13th parliamentary elections, a meeting chaired by Chief Advisor Muhammad Yunus has emphasised the need for greater coordination between the Army, police forces, and field-level officials.

The meeting took place at the chief advisor's official residence, the State Guest House Jamuna, on Monday.

Yunus's Press Secretary Shafiqul Alam briefed reporters at the Foreign Service Academy after the two-hour session, which focussed on the home ministry and law-enforcing agencies preparations for the national vote.
