Dhaka, Oct. 12 -- Chief Advisor Muhammad Yunus has arrived in Rome, Italy, to participate in the World Food Forum.
On Sunday, local time at 5pm (9pm Bangladesh time), the flight carrying Yunus and his delegation landed at Rome's Fiumicino Airport. He was welcomed by Bangladesh's Ambassador to Italy ATM Rokebul Haque.
Yunus will speak as a guest at the forum's main session and hold meetings with Italian Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni and heads of international organisations. Discussions will focus on food security, poverty alleviation, and sustainable development, among other global issues.
The forum runs from Oct 10 to 17 at the organisation's headquarters in Rome.
