Dhaka, June 20 -- The Public Administration Reform Commission's 18 shortlisted proposals, deemed "ready for implementation" by ministries, are now under orders from Chief Advisor Muhammad Yunus to be executed without delay.

A media statement from his office on Friday confirmed the directive.

"A National Consensus Commission led by the chief advisor is currently working to secure agreement on constitutional and major reforms," it read.

"Those proposals that ministries can implement independently must now be carried out without delay."

The instructions followed a meeting on Jun 16 at the Chief Advisor's Office (CAO), held to accelerate execution of the proposals categorised as "immediately implementable" by the reform panel.
