Dhaka, May 10 -- An emergency meeting of the Advisory Council has been convened amid blockades across Dhaka, including at Shahbagh, demanding a ban on the Awami League.
Energy Advisor Fouzul Kabir Khan told bdnews24.com that the meeting will be held at 8pm on Saturday.
"The meeting will discuss the course of action in light of recent developments," he said.
The meeting is scheduled for Saturday evening at the chief advisor's official residence, State Guest House Jamuna, according to an official from his office.
Speaking to bdnews24.com, the official confirmed the emergency meeting had been called, though the agenda was not disclosed.
