Dhaka, Nov. 28 -- A young man has been stabbed to death during a clash between rival youth gangs in Khulna.
The victim, identified as 21-year-old Ishan, was attacked on Thursday evening near the Khalishpur Fair Clinic intersection, according to Khalishpur Police Station chief Mir Atahar Ali.
He died on the way to City Medical College Hospital. Another person was also injured in the incident, the latest in a long-running feud between two local teenage groups, according to authorities.
Police said tensions had been simmering for weeks between the two groups in the Petka Bazar neighbourhood.
An argument broke out again on Thursday evening, after which members of one group allegedly assaulted and stabbed Ishan before fleeing.
