Dhaka, Oct. 5 -- Border Guard Bangladesh (BGB) have arrested a Rohingya couple in possession of a stash of yaba tablets with the help of a dog squad in Cox's Bazar's Teknaf.

Although registered with a Rohingya camp in Teknaf, the couple lived in a rented house outside the camp and ran a drug business, claims the BGB.

They were arrested from a rented house owned by an individual named Nezam in the Islamabad area of ward No. 4 of Teknaf Municipality on Sunday, said Lieutenant Colonel Ashikur Rahman, commander of BGB's Teknaf 2nd Battalion.

The arrestees are Mabud Kamal's son Mohammad Ayub, 37, and his wife Rabeya, 35. They are registered residents of A-Block of Jadimura refugee camp No. 27 in Teknaf.
