Dhaka, April 28 -- Nick Welch and Sean Williams have steadied the Zimbabwe innings leaving Bangladesh in search of a wicket in the second session of the series-deciding Chattogram Test.

The visitors were 115 for 2 in 39 overs with Welch (44) and Williams (20) keeping the scoreboard ticking in the middle at the Zahur Ahmed Chowdhury Stadium on Monday.

The absorbing session in the morning saw Bangladesh snare the wickets of the openers after Zimbabwe chose to bat first.

Tanzim Hasan (1-36) sent Brian Bennett (21) for his maiden Test wicket with an edge back to the wicketkeeper in the first hour of the morning.
