Dhaka, Jan. 30 -- The International Crimes Tribunal has expressed dissatisfaction over the failure to arrest four individuals accused in the killing of Imam Hasan Tayem in Dhaka's Jatrabari, despite warrants being issued.
Tayem, a second-year student of Narayanganj Government Adamjee Nagar MW College, was allegedly shot dead by police in Jatrabari on Jul 20, 2024, during student protests.
Prosecutor Sultan Mahmud told bdnews24.com that the tribunal was scheduled to receive the investigation report on Thursday.
"When I requested more time, the tribunal asked about the progress of the investigation and the status of the arrests of the warrant-listed accused," he said.
