Bangladesh, Sept. 10 -- The clock has ticked well past midnight, but the counting of votes in the DUCSU election is yet to finish.
At 1am on Wednesday, Shahidul Jahid, the returning officer on duty at the University Laboratory School polling centre said students from Shamsunnahar Hall had cast ballots at the centre.
The scanning of the ballots is nearly complete, he added.
Once the scanning is complete, the results for the hall union and DUCSU polls will be announced by the central election authority.
Simab Nazir Ahmed, the election officer on duty at the university's Physical Education Centre, said the scanning of ballots at the polling centre is nearing its end and that the results can be announced soon.
