Dhaka, April 19 -- A video showing a man being shoved into a car in broad daylight in Dhaka's Uttara has gone viral on Facebook, sparking public concern.

The video was posted on Friday night by Noman Ahmed Nafiz, a Chattogram University admission seeker.

According to Nafiz, the incident occurred around 2:45pm on Friday on a street opposite the BNS Centre in Uttara. Three men forcibly pushed a pedestrian into a private car.

When bystanders approached in an attempt to intervene, the men turned on them as well. The car then sped off in the direction of the airport.
