Dhaka, Nov. 20 -- US Ambassador to Bangladesh Tracey Ann Jacobson has visited Sonargaon Seeds Crushing Mills Ltd, a concern of Meghna Group of Industries (MGI).

She was received on Thursday by MGI directors Tanjima Mostafa and Barrister Tasnim Mostafa, and Executive Director and Head of Export Sameera Rahman.

During the visit, Ambassador Jacobson observed the soybean crushing operations, with a particular focus on the handling and processing of imported US soybeans.

A statement by MGI said the visit reflects growing agricultural trade ties between the two countries.
