Dhaka, Nov. 7 -- National Citizen Party (NCP) Convenor Nahid Islam has said that all participants of the July Uprising should be in the next parliament.

He made the remark on Friday afternoon at the launching of the University Teachers' Forum at the Shamsur Rahman Auditorium of Bangla Academy.

"The upcoming parliament will constitute a reform council. Initiatives will be taken for a new constitution. That's why all participants of the uprising should be present in the parliament," he said.

The incumbent government initiated many reformation steps after the past Awami League government was thrown out on August 5 last year by a student-led Uprising.
